Crispy Beer-Battered Avocado Tacos via How Sweet it Is.

PEEPS. Wish me luck! I’m about to embark on a deep-clean of my refrigerator and pantry, inspired by the girls at The Home Edit (though it’s not likely to be as stunning as their recent projects. I wish). In the meantime, I’m daydreaming about all the fun things I’ll be able to cook once the interior of my fridge doesn’t resemble a war zone, and I’ve outlined all those wishlist recipes below. I’m hoping to keep this up as a monthly series, so, to all the readers out there: Lemme know if you like it!

NOT ALL AT ONCE, GUYS!!! Really. I’m overwhelmed.

Below, you can find links to recipes I’ve been hoping to try. They’re seasonally appropriate (most of them use in-season produce—peaches, plums, avocado, cherries, watermelon, strawberries, tomatoes, corn, raspberries, eggplant, blackberries, blueberries, kale, and so on!) and I err on the healthy-ish side. For the most part. Emphasis on “ish.”

Important disclaimer: I haven’t tried most of these recipes yet. I’m just intrigued and have them bookmarked myself. So if you do try your hand at one and things go terribly wrong and your kitchen is tarnished beyond repair…I had nothing to do with it. On the other hand, if things go well and you love the recipe in question, it was TOTALLY all my doing.
